Founder
I began photography as a hobby and it has since become the kind of work I most want to be doing. This has developed from weekend activities and personal projects for clients in Adelaide into Sam's Creativity.
It all started with buildings. The way a room differs during the day, the reason that one photograph of a house makes you want to go through the front door while another causes you to swipe past it. Property and architecture remain at the heart of my photography - this is because of my background in civil engineering and construction management, which gives me an understanding of what a builder, an architect or an agent actually needs to see.
A photo of a space should convey what it is like to stand in it.
In practice this involves getting there early in order to make the best use of the natural light, adjusting the vertical lines so that the rooms appear correctly, and editing in a light manner - without adding fake skies or stretching the ceilings in an attempt to make a room seem larger than it actually is - so that the files are ready for use on the web and for printing, typically within two to three days of the photography session.

Please send through the address or a short description of the purpose of the images, along with your deadline. I'll then give you my availability and a fixed price.
We choose a time that fits the lighting and the property; for interior shots, this is generally mid-morning, while for exterior shots, it is the hour following sunset.
I go there early, carry out the shoot list that we have decided on, and as we proceed, I show you the frames on the back of the camera so that nothing will be a surprise.
Edited images are sent to you via download link within 48 to 72 hours in the required sizes for web and print; re-edits on any frame are also included.

For venues, menus, and social media imagery, as well as headshots, personal branding, and product and workplace photography to help businesses build their image library, the sessions can be booked on their own or added to the property work for the same client.
Each job is quoted separately, as the price varies with the size of the property or venue and the number of final images you require. Just send over the details and you'll receive a fixed price in 24 hours.
